Since I finished the part about 36C - 23 - 36 page 3 girl Corinne Russell in the bonus section of my ( hopefully ) first FLASH FRIDAY post coveringMarkWaid and Paul Pelletier's six part CHAIN LIGHTNING SAGA I thought I could use the opportunity to write my first post on her since I just went through her pictures - or at least the pictures of her I have until now.
The idea is to put the first batch of pictures out there to counter all of the horror stuff that will be on the blog around Halloween a bit although another reason is to include some stuff that has piled up making the last posts and wouldn't you know it a lot of it happens to be horror related.
Be that as it may the purpose of this post is to be just a quick way ( yeah, like that ever works out like planned ) to put more content out so I will be using ye olde " copy / paste "schtick since I would have to go back to the forum where I found her pictures to get more background information on her and at the moment I just don't have the time for it.
While Corinne Russell is probably best known for AC / DC's music video You Shook Me All Night Longand for playing the hooker Candy in the first ( and for me still only ) Highlander movie ( because I stick to the tagline " There can be only one. "so I choose to ignore all the other sequels ) with Christopher Lambert ( and you can read more about him, his ex wife Diane Lane and french - in every sense of the word - wardrobe malfunction prone40C - 25 - 35sex goddessSophie" Tits Out "Marceau whom Christopher Lambert slam - fucked in the worst way for seven ( !!! ) years in my latest tribute post toMarkTexeira's GHOSTRIDER).
Other movies where you might have seen Corinne without realizing it are Absolute Beginners where she played the giant typewriter dancer, the James Bond movie Octopussy ( which is the only James Bond movie I still have not seen ) where she danced in silhouette in the opening credits and in Bolero with the perfect ten 40C - 22 - 36 1980 sex icon Bo Derek .
Obviously she became one of the " Hill's Angels "on The Benny Hill Show in 1983 and since finding clips from that program are almost impossible to find I am including a few links that I found going through a forum ( more on that in a minute ) : from the already mentioned " Saucy Boy With A Slingshot "sketch just the part with Benny Hill and Corinne Russell , Corinnedancing and swaying her hips and Corinne in black and white . Futhermore we have Corinne Russell in another Benny Hill sketch loosing her dress and another appearance in the Keep Fit Cruise / Cruise Liner segmenton The Benny Hill Show as well as Corinne Russell on the Kennt Everett Television Show and another performance on that show and in a Cointreau sketch on the same show. Last but not least here are clips with Corinne Russell in the tv movie Harry's Kingdom( 1987 ) with a close up from that and also Corinne Russell in Gone To the Dogs( 1991 ).
Hopefully we can get more into that in future Corinne Russell posts.
As longtime followers of the blog know I always prefer to have some kind of overarching theme to my posts and as some might guess from the title Today it's Germany. Because while going through the pictures Yesterday I noticed how many covers there were from german publications like Neue Revue, Praline, Schluesselloch, Wochenend, Sexy, Oho ! and even the prestigious movie review magazine Cinema. Yep, Corinne Russell was very prolific all over the world and this includes my old homestead.
Those who have read previousGOODBYEGERMANYposts know that this is my way to say farewell to all of my comicbooks I had to sell when I was forced to move to Spain although it was not only my comicbook collection I had to leave behind. Basically I had to get rid of everything I owned and only was allowed to keep what I could cram into a suitcase.
Plus my laptop ( who self destructed after a few months ), what I could fit into a bag and the clothes I was wearing. Which naturally included all of my adult magazines and to tell the truth a lot of the money I did get for selling my stuff ( as little as that was since I had to sell it fast ) was for my collection of adult magazines that went back to July 1985 which was when I was finally old enough to buy my first issue of the PLAYBOY.
Which had Grace Jones on the cover ( and inside since she was doing promotion for the James Bond movie The Living Daylights I wish Today's Bond girls would take a page out of her book here ) and if I remember correctly there was some kind of special inside with lots of nude pictures of famous german movie stars like Elke Sommer, Alice and Ellen Kessler, Nastassja Kinski or SybilDanning - which we all covered on this blog.
Anyway, when my english improved enough to read the US version of the PLAYBOY I had the choice to get either the german version or the original version of PLAYBOY - and even the spanish version when I was in Spain during the summer holidays - and sometimes I would get both because the german playmate of the month would be a different one than in the US version or there were other famous Busenwunder in the german mag .
Now over the last almost 40 years I did not only collect PLAYBOY issues - or PENTHOUSE issues for that matter especially when they started with PENTHOUSE COMIX - and so I also got a lot of the previously mentioned german nudie magazine that you could also get at gas stations and which prime audience were perps, truckers and soldiers. Anyway, without a lot of the PLAYBOY issues I still kept I would not have gotten as much money - especially since there were a lot of those special issues amongst them - and this is my way to reminiscence a bit about those old publications.
And maybe some of my german readers will also get a kick out of this.
