This is my fifth Curt Swan tribute post ( click here for the posts from 2017 / 2018 part one / 2018 part two / 2019 and 2020) so I guess I don´t have to write anything about how iconic his version of Superman was. Despite so many great writers and great artists that have worked on the character in his 80+ year history no matter what my personal favorites are the Curt Swan Superman will always be the first image that pops into my mind.
Which is why picking the art for this post was so difficult. There were so many good original art pages that it was difficult to bring it down to 23.
But as usual my latest bonus section has gotten way too long so I order to shorten the post I have to make another post and since there were a lot of pages I couldn´t fit into my last post I am putting them here. Which doesn´t mean that these are leftovers, quite the opposite. I would have posted them long ago if the usual restrictions hadn´t prevented me from doing so. Anyway, here they are and let´s all raise our glasses to the man, the myth, the legend that was Curt Swan. Godspeed and blue skies, Curt.
