So there I was trying to finish my MAKE MINE MARVEL post and adding all this material about The Planet Of The Apes to the cult siren / pop culture section because I thought I didn´t have enough good stuff for a spotlight post. Well, just to satisfy my curiosity I decided to check out my picture archive and lo and behold I DO have enough good material for a spotlight.
More than one, in fact there is enough material for at least a second post.
It won´t come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the blog for an extended period of time that the main focus of this spotlight post are the comicbooks and especially the ones published by Marvel Comics - although there is some art from other comicbook publishers. Speaking of art, I´ve included a lot of original comicbook art but since some of it is from Marvel Comic´s black and white magazine there are no corresponding color pages.

John Ritter may be best remembered as the Dad in the Problem Child movies and playing the main lead in Hooperman but he was one lucky dude where hot female co - tars were concerned. Because not only did he catch his first big break in Three´s Company ( which was called Jack of Hearts with two Queens in Germany ) alongside such tittilating tv screen scorchers like the ravenhaired 34C - 24 - 34 rack attack Joyce DeWitt and blonde 38D - 22 - 38 brabuster Suzanne Somers and on the big screen with 36C - 24 - 34 horror hottie Jennifer Tilly in Bride Of Chucky. To top it all of he got to work not once with my number one tv crush of all times and the star of many wet sex dreams - 80s Power Girl Markie Post - but twice. First in the tv movie Tricks Of The Trade where she played a hooker and then on a regular basis on the series Hearts Afire. It´s true, Markie didn´t appear in a bikini there like in a few occassions on The Fall Guy but there were enough low cut dresses and deep cleavages to keep your interest.
I still haven´t truly processed Markie Post´s passing - and I promise to do a proper post when I have the time - so I will make the obligatory Markie Post part as short as possible. In previous post I skipped it but I feel like I should at least include the links to my previous Markie Post tributes for all of my newer followers who sadly have not had the chance to read them.
Longtime readers know that while Markie Post was practically in everything that was on tv in the 70s and 80s she became one of my ultimate sex phantasies on the show The Fall Guy which every male that was alive in the 80s remembers - and we will get to the reason why.
Like most growing teenagers I watched that show religiously but the biggest part of its appeal for me were sexbombs like Heather Thomas and Markie Post who didn´t appear as often in a bikini as I would have liked.
Well, Heather Thomas did since that was her main purpose on the show butMarkie Post´s appearances in bikinis on The Fall Guy were very few.

But The Fall Guy didn´t just have 80s Power Girl Markie Post they also put blonde bombshell Heather Thomas in the show right from the beginning.
She played stunt body double ( and what a body it was ) Jody and her job was to keep the male viewers hooked by providing eye candy. She was in all episodes except for an episode in the first season. Yes, fan service is not as new as some people might want you to think and Heather Thomas mainly got the part because of her absolutely amazing bikini figure. OMG !
It took a few episodes before she could strut her stuff but once the tv guys got a taste of Heather it happened more often and the famous blue bikini scene was quickly added to the new intro of the second season.
For generations of adolescent young boys the only highlight of the week was the short moment when Heather appeared in her famous blue bikini.
Coming back to Heather Thomas, thanks to her absolutely stunning 37 ( ! ) - 23 - 32 measurements and the exposure in The Fall Guy she became a famous pin up model with posters in every hormone driven boy's bedroom.
Heather even managed to replace Raquel Welch on the number one spot !

Markie Post played bail bonds contractor Terri Michaels ( who replaced previous bail bonds contractor Samantha Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug ) beginning with Season 2 and at the beginning she played a minor role.
But Markie Post knew that she was destined to super stardom, so when the opportunity arose that one of the producers of the show who was a bit smitten with Markie appeared on the set she managed to set up a few meetings - just to discuss her role of course. Even though he claimed to be happily married the business meetings turned into private meetings which were then relocated to a secret no - tell motel where Markie used her relentless body and her natural ability to spread her legs better than a fillipino hooker to give the lucky guy who was hung like a horse a Kama Sutra crash course with more than the twenty three positions in a one night stand including sexual practices that are illegal in fourteen states.
After Markie had successfully dicktamed the guy six ways to Sunday during these weekend long squirt marathons he was only too eager to convince the rest of the guys in charge what a complete waste it would be to have somebody like Markie on the cast without letting her " show off what her Mama gave her " like they say Today and the rest is 80s tv history. So Markie got more involved in the stories where she stole the scene from Heather Thomas as soon as she donned a bikini ( mainly in season three ).
In The Fall Guy Colt Seavers always tried to avoid Terri Michaels and the reason they gave was that the jobs she got him always turned out to be more dangerous than she made them look. But if my bail bonds contractor was a walking sex machine like Markie Post with a fantastic bikini figure and legs for miles up to her chin I would have taken every job she had.
Of course I would have waited until she was really desperate so I could get a higher price and I would insist that instead of paying in cash she would have to work it off in naturals. In the show Colt Seavers has an outdoor bathtub and I would have ended the episode with Colt using Terri as his personal blow up sex doll in the bathtub while Terri spreads her legs apart wider than a fillipino hooker who is three months behind on her rent.
I know that such a scene probably would not have passed the tv censors but if it would have been too much to show full frontal nudity with Markie Post they could have shown her back while she was sliding up and down on Colt´s hard boner. Or they could have shown Colt´s back so you could see Markie legs going high in the air and then opening up and slowly coming down on both sides of Colt´s back ending in a perfect split.
Then the camera could switch to the other side and the audience would see Markie´s back as she slowly takes her bikini top off. While she is doing the splits Terri would then press her naked breasts against Colt´s nude chest which would give us a great opportunity to show a lot of sideboob.
At this point Markie would start to really dicktame Lee Majors bending her torso all the way backwards and the camera would film her from above so we get to see her completely naked upper half. Normally you would see her nude breasts and nippels but I would have Colt grab Terri´s hooters and squeeze them. I don´t think I would have had to convince Lee Majors to shoot the scene while I definitely would have had to get Markie drunk.
80s Power Girl Markie Post is probably the best known cult siren on the blog because not only have I done many re - posts of her original post .
I also keep mentioning her in other posts and her original post is in the Top Ten Posts widget that appears on every post. Since I have done so many different versions it is not so tragic that I did not do a re - post last year even though I did the last version of her cult siren entry in 2016 .
