As blog regulars know the month of February usually starts with a post about Ron Frenz who turned 61 on the 1st of this month but then I would completely forget all about 36D - 25 - 36 swimsuit model / Instagram star Natalie Hadek who just got her own spotlight post . So Ron Frenz was only postponed and it´s not the first time his birthday post got delayed .
Now some readers may think that I am always writing about comicbook artists who are past their prime and start to get bored ( At least I think that may be the case since I don´t get that many comments. So if you have any complaints, suggestions or praise let your voice be heard and please let me know in the comments below. ) but I just read most of my MC2 books ( except for AMERICAN DREAMER and LAST PLANET STANDING which I haven´t found yet ) and for me his work on A NEXT still holds up.
I have done spotlightpostsforvariousbooks Ron Frenz penciled and I know that everyone is waiting for my series on Thor´s SOUL SHROUD SAGA with bathed breath but I thought that I could switch things up a bit this year and do a post about the artwork Ron Frenz posts on Facebook - much like the first one I did on Matt Wagner´s quarantine gallery . These are trying times for us all and Ron Frenz has been one of the few sources of positiveness whenever I had a shitty day. Which is most of the days lately.
Deja Vu. The strange feeling that you´ve seen or experienced something before. Not only do I have a series that presents covers of comicbooks that pay homage to other covers called that but it is something that often happens to me when I write this section. I often am one hundred percent sure that I have mentioned somebody on the blog before but when I start looking for it I can´t find it. Which could also be a case of me forgetting to add the corresponding label but it is still unsettling. Anyway, after going through the list of anniversaries for February the 3rd - to make sure I did not forget anybody important which always happens - I came across three such persons where I was convinced I had written about them before.
Well, technically just two persons because I did INDEED write something about natural born 34C - 25 - 36 stripperstarletKathleenKinmont who turned 56 before. Just not on her birthday and not as much as I thought.
I also didn´t post as many animated GIFs of her as I thought. The reason for that is that I mentioned the birthday of her husband Lorenzo Lamas ( or like he is called in Germany Lorenzo Lahmarsch which means Lorenzo Lameass ) very often and since his anniversary is in January and I don´t like to repeat myself I just skipped Kathleen Kinmont´s birthday telling myself that I would include it the following year. Which I never did.
Lorenzo Lamas is best known for getting beat up by the asian butler on Falcon Crest and a series that never made sense as the main character is an ex - cop, wrongly accused for the murder of his wife who hides from the law while working as a bounty hunter. By the way, if you don´t know Renegade ( how I envy you ) you should avoid it at all costs unless you´re a really big fan of X - Men´s loser Gambit or born for porn blonde brabuster Kathleen Kinmont who has a porn star body and an ass that won´t quit.
Now while the show deservedly never won any awards at least the casting is very favorably stacked in regards to hot babes and aside from playmate material Kathleen Kinmont you have tv screen sirens of high caliber guest starring like hasian Kelly Hu, Leah Remini, Angie Harmon, sexorcist Linda Blair , babelon five striptease star Tracy Scoggins who even managed to outsex tittylatingTeriHatcher on Lois & Clark : The New Adventures of Superman, Fabiana Udenio, Janet Gunn or the obligatory BeckyMullen .
Closing out the part of guest stars on Renegade there are two more names readers of this blog should have heard once or twice, the first being Bruce Penhall who also starred in many Andy Sidaris movies where dicktamers like RobertaVasquez or Julie K. Smith rubbed their boobs all over his body.
But the second and most important is PLAYBOY´s Playmate of the Month for May 1994, Shae Marks. This hot mix of cherokee, irish and french had cameos on Married With Children, Viper and Black Scorpion but is best known for Andy Sidaris Day of the Warrior and Return toSavage Beach.

Next we have screen writer / movie director / critic / translator / publisher Paul Auster who celebrared his 74th birthday who worked on such movies as Smoke, Blue In The Face or Lulu On The Bridge. I first encountered his work with David Mazuchelli´s adaption of his novel City Of Glas which is the second part of his New York trilogy. After a ton of research I found out that I indeed posted the cover to this graphic novel in a post where I mentioned Harry Rowohlt - since the book was published by Rowohlt here in Germany - but didn´t write anything about Paul Auster.
Longtime followers of the blog know that I often mention german Schlager stars in this section because that is part of the potpourri of music I grew up with. There are some I didn´t like and ignore and others I liked - most of which were hot chicks - but there is a third category which are those that were so famous that you just automatically knew, almost through osmosis. You were so familiar with their songs that you didn´t even think about if you actually liked their songs. Now while Tony Marshall who turned 83 would fall into the last category where the level of celebrity is concerned I distinctively recall that his songs always made me feel better when I was in a bad mood. His music just has a positive impact on people.

I thought I had first seen her in Acapulco H.E.A.T. but it really wasn´t before Burn Notice that I saw her on a regular basis. Now I know that a lot of people say that they don´t understand what that show is all about but since I already explained everything there is to know about Burn Notice at length in this post let´s get to the real reason why I mentioned Gabrielle.

We are staying with gorgeous ladies on screen with Tom Tayback who celebrated his 70th birthday. Okay, he´s not a gorgeous lady and he only starred in four movies but the reason why I instantly recognized him is that one of them was Greg Hyppolite´s Undercover Heat with über bodacious Athena Massey as sex starved undercover cop Cindy Hannen.
Even if the story is nothing new - a female cop has to go undercover as a callgirl to find a serial killer - Undercover Heat is one of the best erotic movies I have seen because it has the perfect blend of crime, suspense, erotic and humor that few directors of this genre achieve. It also has a nice pacing of five minutes of story development followed by five minutes of erotic scenes and so on. But the biggest reason why this movie is so entertaining is the stunning Athena Massey and her spectacular body.
The character Athena plays is a somewhat repressed woman who never had much time besides her police work to explore her sexuality but as she goes undercover she makes up for that in spades. The plan going in is that her superior will send her clients so she can keep her cover and give him regular status reports. But as they sometimes come too late - to their appointments that is not as in relayed ejaculation - the sex depraved bombshell is already busy sexperimenting with the other potent studs.
There is even a threesome with a client and his big breasted wife so this movie has it all. So this is my recommendation for the day and if you haven´t seen it yet you definitely have to check out Undercover Heat.

Is it just nostalgia or did we have the golden age of cartoon series in the 80s ?

So since it is one of my favorite things to bring attention to those artists who are underrated, underappreciated or even largely unknown I made a folder specifically for Rich Buckler´s art and did spotlight posts for him in 2017 and in 2018 .
