We are making a jump because there are no pop culture relevant birthdays between April the 27th and May the 3rd ( and if I have missed any I am sure I can make a spin - off post since the bonus section will be no doubt extra long ) which means we continue right on with STAR WARS DAY !
Regular visitors of TALES FROM THE KRYPTONIAN know that I don´t like to repeat myself so because last year´s STAR WARS DAY post was all original art I wanted to do something different this year. I still have original art in this post but only two pieces and I absolutely had to include these two.
For the rest of the post I wanted to feature all of the things that - at least for me - made the STAR WARS universe cool. Right now the quality of the STAR WARS movies and the spin - offs is pretty low with ROGUE ONE and THE MANDALORIAN being the only exceptions. So because I don´t like to dwell on the negative I tried to cram everything that is cool into one post.
Which was not very easy but as I already mentioned we have a few days to cover in the bonus section so I am expecting a few more STAR WARS post.
Especially since I only included one STAR WARS cosplay picture. But come on, by now you must know that Yaya Han is obligatory. Anyway, I had all the material for a special SLAVE LEIA post prepared but them the death of Carrie Fisher put a dampener on that. At the moment enough time has passed that I would consider putting it on the blog. And that´s enough of an introduction so let´s get to the good stuff and May the 4th be with you ( for all those who still don´t know how STAR WARS DAY came to be ) !
