Well, a few days ago while going through my art folders I combined the material from the folders I had labeled " trade paperback "and " pulp novels "and since I have not posted any of its content I decided to rectify that oversight since none of us really knows how much time we have left.
So this post is kind of a callback to my pre - comicbook - afficionado reading days when I was not bitten by the comic bug and spent my money as easily on horror, crime fiction or pulp novels as on the newest exploits of BESSY, RAHAN - SOHN DER VORZEIT or WASTL. What always caught my attention were the covers of those pulp trade paperbacks which were often very raunchy with the most outrageous and scandalous titles.
But that´s the topic of one of the follow - up posts ( What ? You didn´t think I could fit all of these covers into one post. ) for this one I have decided to do an artist´s spotlight. The only problem is that I don´t know the name of the artist. And I am not sure if all of the pieces in this post are really by the same artist. But there is a common look to them that I remember from those cheap pulps I would come across at newsstands around the world whenever I travel. So here are the covers or art pieces I chose for this post - in some cases I was lucky enough to find the original illustration AND the printed cover - and if you have any additional info like the name of the artist then please let me know in the comments below.

The same goes for every woman where I post a picture. The only problem with that is that very often I don´t know the names of the girls in the pictures I post. Which is either because the name on that picture is the wrong one - which happens more often then you might think - or there is no name on the picture at all. It also might be the case that I came upon the picture while looking for something completely different - as I already explained in the beginning of this post - and I don´t have the time to put the proper name on the picture. But for all intents and purposes I try to give credit where credit is due whenever I can. And I even had whole posts called WHO`S THAT GIRL ? or UNKNOWN POWER GIRLS ( when the women in question were exceptionally largebreasted ) dedicated to ask or give my readers more information about these unknown sexbombs.

For those who want to check it out I also managed to do a follow - up post with a lot more Green Lantern art by Joe Staton just last week .

Which is not that far - fetched as it may sound. At least to people from Europe where Astrid Lindgren´s children´s books are standard literature in every public library and Pippi Longstocking is the most famous one of her many female heroines. So a cosplay of her would be instantly recognized.
Plus cosplayers love to do different takes on characters be it a female version of a male hero, a male version of a female heroine, an entirely new take on a character and adult versions of famous characters are not that uncommon. What´s more, it would make total sense for somebody who is an adult glamour model since it is part of their job to make phantasies come true ( at least as far as legally possible ) and who hasn´t thought about what his favorite childhood heroines would look like all grown up ?

Well, if you have paid attention you have noticed that the pictures of Sofia Sivan are labeled as " Wendy "and indeed she is not cosplaying as Pippi Longstocking but as the embodiment of one of the best known fast food restaurant chains - at least in America. Here in Germany it´s not that well known so cut me some slack for assuming that it was somebody else.
Speaking of embodiment, that slight error on my part not withstanding Sofia Sivan´s cosplay is right down my alley and with her giant boobs, crazy body measurements, an ass that won´t quit and her long but muscular legs which she can spread better than a fillipino prostitute it seems to be taylor made for me.
