It´s Spanish Sunday with Francisco Ibáñez !

Going through the birthday list for my post on Todd McFarlane´s AMAZING SPIDER - MAN I realized that I forgot the birthday of one of the biggest names in the spanish comic industry and since my last post on him was in 2017 ( !!! ) it´s about time to do the follow up post I promised my readers.

In our first post there were not as many covers from Francisco Ibáñez ( I know that in the last post where I mentioned him I got his name wrong, sorry ) most famous series MORTADELO Y FILEMON as I hoped and more stuff about all of the other series he did so this post will have only covers from MORTADELO Y FILEMON. To illustrate into how many languages the series has been translated I have given preference to those covers where I also have a version from another country. Well, that and super hero spoof covers. Basically anything with Superman. Naturally the comicbook covers from Germany were the easiest to obtain - and also have the best quality - while some of the other covers are of a very low quality. I had to let go of a few ones that were just too small to post since I didn´t want my readers to go blind just because of this post but I kept most of the others.
