This week I didn´t get much done where the next issue of my comic book is concerned because after returning from Berlin I came down with the flu and I am only now recovering from the effects. So instead of regaling you with the slings and arrows we had to endure at the 2018 Comic Con Berlin here is another Joe Kubert tribute post that I could not get done earlier.

I know that some of my readers expected a post about Bernie Wrightson since Today would have been his 70th birthday but it´s still too early for me to process his passing. So in the meantime I am doing a post on which I was quite frankly already working in Berlin. Not that I want to give the impression that I am working day and night on this blog for the benefit of my readers. My brother informed me that some of my announcements about our convention appearances sound like I see myself as a rock star.
Which is probably the farthest away from the truth. In any case, I did schlepp my laptop all the way to Berlin in the hopes of posting some things on facebook during the con. As it turned out I couldn´t even get a connection so while I was trying in vain to enter the internet I started preparing this post. Speaking of trying to get a connection, the first day we arrived in Berlin there was an extremely busty sexbomb at the Hostel that would have been right down my alley but I was too bummed out to approach her and even if I would have managed to work up the courage to speak to this living blow up sex doll she would have probably just brushed me off. I didn´t see her later so that was another chance I didn´t grab.
Anyway, for this post I have selected mainly covers because it is much easier to find the color versions than with some of the interior pages.

Especially when you have no idea from which comic they are. I have not tried to include as many different series as possible and went with the best quality which in the end includes a lot of various books. There are also some nuggets from german comics as you can see in the first picture.

The series presented various issues of DC´s House of Mystery series to the german comic reading audience and for those visitors of the blog who also read german comics the always reliable Jacub Kurtzberg from DAS SAGTE NUFF has compiled a list of what was reprinted in which issue. While the covers may not be that appealing it offers a real treasure trove of artists including Joe Kubert, Bernie Wrightson, Jim Aparo, Ernie Chan, Alex Nino, Ernie Colon, E R Cruz, Alex Saviuk, Don Newton and Eduardo Barretto.

Jamie was not always a sex symbol and started out in horror movies like Halloween and The Fog where she quickly became very famous for her impressive set of lungs as one of Hollywood´s scream queens. Although she later became quite literal famous for her impressive set of lungs as her boobs had busted out and she quickly got the nickname " freezeframe " because her scenes in movies like TradingPlaces or Perfect became the most paused on the vcr thanks to her 34C - 22 - 34 measurements. Which is all the more impressive if you keep in mind that Jamie Lee Curtis was 36 at the time. So she did her best movie scene when her body was in remarkable shape - she exercised every day for this - and I can´t even begin to imagine how epic it would have been if she hadn´t kept on her underwear and gone full monty frontal nudity. Because James Cameron had seen her in A Fish Called Wanda and wrote the role of Helen Trasker specifically to see her nude body. A lot of other actresses auditioned for the role and while I could definitely see Demi Moore in that part ( whoisthenumberoneinmyTop Movie Stripteases thanks toherspectacularperformance inStriptease ) or even Kim Basinger, Michelle Pfeiffer, Geena Davis, Rosanna Arquette, Madonna, Jennifer Jason Leigh and possibly Lea Thompson or Sharon Stone I thank God that it wasn´t given to Emma Thompson, Melanie Griffith, Debra Winger, Anette Benning or Joan Cusak.

I have already done a number of posts on JaMILF Lee Curtis : the original post which mostly contains pictures with links to animated GIFs , one post with all the pictures I could find , a re - posted version with a few GIFs addedand the post I did on her in 2016 which has lots of spectacular GIFs.
Speaking of spectacular GIFs, the reason why I am mentioning Demi Moore - besides the opportunity to feature her again - is that I already wrote a new version of her cult siren entry with more GIFs of Demi girating her booty than you can shake .... okay, I´m not going to finish the sentence.

As it is I had to split it into two parts because of the GIFs - I still have to finish up the fun section on the second part - and if all goes according to plan the two posts will be up on the blog on her birthday next month.
